As the sun was filtering through this morning, and even though we are still blanketed deep in snow, I thought I would put on my snow pants and snow boots and take a walk with my camera in hand.   I followed a deer trail along by the creek and was taken in by the peacefulness of the surroundings.  

Needless to say it ended up being a good workout and I was greeted upon my return by a family of quail by the garden gates.  A few more photos to add to my winter collection.  It may be a while before I will see any form of new plant life in the garden.
