Just a short post today as my husband and I are heading out on another adventure.  Rather than posting more photos of snow, the New Year depicts to me new beginnings.  What I look forward to the most is the signs of new growth in the garden once the snow has melted.  The photos above were taken in early Spring 2016.  It shows the witch hazel in bloom and miniature bulbs below in the rockery garden.

This is a time of planning too.  I love to peruse the seed catalogues and decide on perennials, annuals and vegetables that I am going to add to the garden this year.
