The Sounds & Scents of Granville Market

imageimageimageWhenever I visit Granville market it reminds me of the days when my husband and I sold ornamental trees and perennials out of our one ton van, even though we had to leave at 5:00 in the morning to get there in time for opening.   We were very fortunate to be able to sell at this market as it allowed us to get good exposure of Lovelace Nurseries at the time.  I always remember going inside the market early in the morning and smelling the flowers and freshly baked bread.  It was quite the experience, particularly meeting all the varied customers, some local, some from afar.  It was a lot of hard work setting up but was well worth it once we started selling to the public.  I didn’t think I had it in me to be a sales person, but if you are passionate about what you are selling, it comes very easily.  Good memories.
