I am doing another post today on our Eagle Bay retreat more as a test.  I have been having problems with my website and not being a techy person it has been a bit of a challenge.  I have been dealing with “cache” “php” and conflicting plugins which is like double dutch to me!  My husband and I have thoroughly enjoyed our Eagle Bay retreat despite the adventurous summer we had this year with being evacuated twice due to forest fires.

We have now removed the RV and we were pleased too, with the help of Ken’s Country Bobcat, to finally have the burn piles dealt with.  Now if we do decide to build we have a better idea of where we would locate the home/cottage taking in the views up Shuswap lake.  We also have a number of cleared spots now where friends and family can place their RV’s.  The perennials that I planted earlier on in the year are doing really well and will soon be covered by a thick blanket of snow.

In the meantime, I am just posting a few more photos….the scene will look very different in the next few weeks.  My husband and friend Kelly were having a great time running around with the gator.
