With inspiration from my recent trip to Southern California, I picked up a selection of succulents the other day when I was at the Greenery in Kelowna. I rummaged in my garden shed and came upon a terra-cotta pot that was actually from Italy. I thought the succulents would look very good in it. Once the weather gets warmer I will move the pot outside. It just makes a change from the traditional type house plants.
Eventually I would like to create a larger scale arrangement as soon as I can find a suitable container. It would be very similar to the one I saw in the little garden shop in Summerland, near Montecito (South California). I think it would be a welcome addition to my outside seating area.
