The front garden is an extension of your home. We were very fortunate when we first moved into our house that we had the most inviting entrance way and we brought the climbing rose back to life which blooms profusely every June. The sail boat design in the middle of the gate was very significant as we live very close to the lake. Each morning before I start my day, I always sit on the porch with my coffee and then do a walk about through the garden. I take note, particularly this time of the year, of the new shoots emerging from the many perennials I have planted and mentally make note of what plants I need to relocate and areas where I need to replant.
