Lovely to see the garden after the rainfall. Everything looks lush, vibrant and replenished. The scents of the garden are heightened too. I went for a long walk in the park and stood under a canopy of trees while my husband harvested the wild asparagus. I could not only smell the wild roses but listened to the black capped chickadees and the rustlings in the undergrowth, probably a family of quail…at least I hope it was. I haven’t seen any bear scat yet.
