Thanks to my husband, I now have a sign across the front entrance to our garden which supports my gardening blog name.  We have had many positive comments from neighbors and I think I have started a trend in Fintry, i.e. there may be a few other gardens and/or cottages that are named.  I was waiting for the right moment to take the photo.  Each June, the arbor is covered with masses of single red roses.  We continually prune out the dead wood year round and then are rewarded with many blooms.  

I am very happy too with the “welcome sign” on the front gate.   All my friends know that I just love watching the quail, and while I was away, my husband acquired an appropriate sign for me at a craft fair in Vernon.

I guess I have quite the collection – I forgot the owl weather vane that sits nicely on top of the arbor and we mustn’t forget the fake frogs sitting around the pond.
